The Mustang GT4 engine is generally based off of the 5.2L GT350 (Voodoo) engine.  The GT4 engine is built by Roush Yates Racing Engines and uses a conventional “Cross Plane” Crank with a custom Dry Sump oiling system.  The camshafts are custom pieces to meet the power targets for GT4.  The intake manifold is a 2014 Mustang GT intake.

The transmission features a six speed Holinger Sequential Gearbox with Electronic Paddle Shifters.

The differential is a ramp-type, adjustable unit with 3.31 gears.
